Volunteer farewell
Today we said goodbye to Herbert, a well loved volunteer in Natalie’s Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) class.
Herbert has been completing his year 12 VCAL studies, which included a whole year of work experience with us. He has assisted our students a great deal each Tuesday with their English and numeracy studies. He has been a very hard-working, caring, positive and patient volunteer who has helped our students progress further and faster.
Herbert told me he feels priviledged to have this opportunity and grateful for the many wonderful memories. He has gained many skills and which will be an asset in his future workplace.
We will miss Herbert’s infectious smile and positive personality and wish him all the best in his further studies next year and beyond.
