LLNP

The Language, Literacy and Numeracy Program (LLNP)  provides free training to jobseekers who need help with reading, writing, numeracy and/or spoken language skills to improve their job opportunities.

Three streams of Training are available:

  • Initial Language
  • Basic Language, Literacy and Numeracy
  • Advanced Language, Literacy and Numeracy

LLNP is funded by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR).

What does this Program Offer?

  • A pre- training assessment to determine individual learning needs
  • Training between 10 – 20 hours per week
  • Up to 800 hours of training
  • A supportive adult learning environment
  • Small class sizes
  • Computer assisted learning and basic computer training
  • Improved confidence and skills essential for both everyday life and access to employment
  • Access to vocationally orientated training programs
